Google Pixel leaks reveal new processor and Android 7.1 Nougat

According to sources, Google Pixel has passed through Geekbench and certified. Moreover, there are report about the launch of few cases including screen panels.

Even though the benchmark doesn’t clearly reveal any detailed information, the smartphones will be powered by Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB RAM. Interestingly, the new Pixel devices will be loaded with Android 7.1 Nougat. Hence, you will be able to work with the latest release of Android.

Despite branding by Google, the upcoming Google Pixels will be manufactured by HTC. This development has been confirmed by the Global Certification Forum (GCF).

The forum also reveals that the Pixel and Pixel XL will come in at least two versions for both US and International. The international release will be available with CDMA connectivity and slightly different LTE bands.

Apparently, there are reports of cases being manufactured for both the 5.2-inch Pixel and 5.5-inch Pixel XL. It showcases very large hole for the camera. However, we are unable to spot the presence of dual camera.
